If however, you see no improvement after this time, seeing a doctor should be eminent. Many people don't like seeing a physical therapist, because it often is painful. However, at this point the basic treatment hasn't helped so the back needs the kind of work that only a therapist can do. He may also give some prescription medication such as pain relievers or muscle relaxants.
